Before This kitchen needed reorganizing as well as updating. The desk area was poorly located near the doorway. Although the
fridge was well-placed for the cook, it was inconvenient for the rest of the family and detracted from the appearance of the
kitchen. Also, the original fireplace had potential, but lacked style and presented an opportunity to create a feature wall.

After Beautiful maple cabinets and granite countertops now complement this gracious home. The main changes were relocating the
fridge to a central location and introducing a six-foot wide casement window to replace the previous inadequate one. The desk was moved to the eating area to create space for valuable pantry storage and the fireplace received a custom-made wooden mantle, a new bookcase and a brick wood box. The resulting kitchen is both functional and inviting.
